An unknown face of Egypt
Egypt is a popular tourist destination for the Poles and other nations. The pyramids, numerous monuments and resorts on the Red Sea are places that attract tourists. Unfortunately, there is also a darker side to this place.
Most attacks that have taken place over the last years were directed at the Copts. They constitute a religious minority in Egypt even though more than ten million of them live in the entire country. The terrorists attack Coptic churches and coach busses with pilgrims. The Coptic community has been pushed to the margins of society.
Since 2019, we have been helping families that lost relatives or suffered in other ways from the numerous terrorist attacks in Egypt. Please check out this short documentary that shows an unknown face of the Land of the Pharaos.
